Mounting instructions on a Piaggio Fly - Stricto scooter leg cover New Fly Scooter
Welcome to Stricto. We will help you to mount a scooter leg cover on the Piaggio Fly scooter. The basics are pretty much the same for most scooters. The large strap at the front, the smaller strap at the front and the hooks at the bottom. Because every scooter is slightly different, we walk through the assembly step by step so that your scooter leg cover fits perfectly on your Piaggio Fly.
We explain in 5 steps how you can best mount the Stricto scooter leg cover on a Piaggio New Fly. If you have another Piaggio scooter, click on the model you have.

Instructions Piaggio New Fly
Step 1: Remove your leg cover from the packaging and unfold it. Stand at the front of the scooter and put the large Velcro strap under your handlebars and fasten the Velcro strap. Make sure that this band is already in place, this is more difficult to adjust later
Step 2: You have two female clips on the left and right of the Stricto scooter leg cover. Attach the strap that comes with it and click it left and right on the bottom clip. Let it hang slightly under the front bonnet. Please note: the straps should not be tight yet, we will do this later.
Step 3: At the bottom of the Piaggio New Fly you have a bottom plate. Follow the bottom plate back to the end of it. This is the mounting location for the right hook on the bottom. Make the strap extra long again so that you have enough space.
Step 4: Attach the left hook on the notch of the side stand to the plastic cover.
Step 5: Now carefully tighten the straps 1 by 1. Start with the front strap on the left and right side. Not too hard, otherwise you will pull the leg cover out of shape and over your turn signals. Then slightly tighten the strap of the right hook. Then the strap of the left hook. If the leg cover is already pretty good, but not quite perfect. Repeat these steps. Strap on the front, strap of the hook on the right, strap of the hook on the left. Keep a constant eye on the front so that your Stricto scooter leg cover stays in place.
