Welcome to Stricto. We will help you to mount a scooter leg cover on the Vespa Sprint, Vespa Primavera or Vespa Elettrica scooter. The basics are pretty much the same for most scooters. The large strap at the front, the smaller strap at the front and the hooks at the bottom. Because every scooter is slightly different, we walk through the assembly step by step so that your scooter leg cover fits perfectly on your Vespa.

We explain in 7 steps how you can best mount the Stricto scooter leg cover on a  vespa sprint / Vespa Primavera / Elettrica WITH crash bars. Click here if you don't have crash bars your Vespa. If you have a different Vespa or Piaggio scooter, click on underneath on your model.

Instructions Vespa Sprint, Primavera and Elettrica with crash bars.

Step 1: Unscrew the crash bar on the front with the appropriate tool. This simplifies the assembly of the scooter leg cover. If you can't loosen it, try to work behind the crash bar.

Step 2: Remove your scooter leg cover from the packaging and unfold it. Stand at the front of the scooter and put the large Velcro strap under your handlebars and fasten the Velcro strap. Make sure that this band is already in place, this is more difficult to adjust later.

Step 3: You have two female clips on the left and right of the Stricto leg cover. Attach the strap that comes with it and click it left and right on the bottom clip. Let it hang slightly under the front bonnet. Please note, it should not be tight yet, we will do this later.

Step 4: At the bottom of the Vespa Sprint, Vespa Primavera and the Vespa Elettrica you have a bottom plate made of steel. There are several rubber covers here. At the front is a rectangular cove where the crash bar is also attached. This is the mounting location for the right hook on the bottom. Make the strap extra long again so that you have enough space.Click here for assembly instructions for a Vespa without crash bars.

Step 5: Attach the left hook in the same rectangle as the right strap.

Step 6: Now carefully tighten the straps 1 by 1. Start with the front strap on the left and right side. Not too hard, otherwise you will pull the leg cover out of shape and over your turn signals. Then tighten the strap of the right hook slightly. Then the strap of the left hook. If the scooter leg cover is already pretty good, but not quite perfect. Repeat these steps. Strap on the front, strap of the hook on the right, strap of the hook on the left. Keep a constant eye on the front so that your Stricto scooter leg cover stays in place.

Step 7: Now fix the crash bar back in the correct position.

If you have correctly mounted the Stricto leg cover, it will look like this at the front.
